Our Pastor
Pastor Russell L. Huizing, Ph.D. serves as the Pastor at Sky Valley Chapel. Pastor Russell comes to the Chapel with over 20 years of pastoral experience in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, where he was raised.
He and his wife, Margaret, have been married for over 27 years and have four boys. They enjoy traveling and nearly anything competitive.
Dr. Huizing is the Professor of Pastoral Ministries in the Ministry and Leadership Department at Toccoa Falls College, where he has worked since 2013. During that time, he has also served as an adjunct instructor with Regent University in the School of Business and Leadership’s doctoral programs as well as the undergraduate studies in the Department of Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry.
Prior to entering the ministry, he acquired over 14 years of leadership experience as a corporate trainer in a global Fortune 50 company and as a small business owner.
