It is one of the most photographed structures in the southeast region.
The Tom McClure Memorial Chapel is a year round house of worship built in 1979. Over the years it has become affectionately known as 'The Chapel of Sky Valley' or the 'Sky Valley Chapel'.
The magnificent bronze-top steeple is equiped with a digital carillon. At select times during the day, the steeple carillon can be heard across the valley ringing out familiar hymns, inspirational melodies and seasonal favorites. Every night at 9:00 PM, 'taps' can be heard as a reminder to all in the valley of the closing of the day.
Construction of a columbarium building began in 1998 and was completed by early 2001. The columbarium and memorial garden wall provide a distinctive and peaceful resting place for loved ones who have passed on.
