Online Giving

We are grateful that you are interested in supporting the ministry of the Chapel of Sky Valley.  Before we get to the 'how' of online giving, though, we want to prepare you spiritually for what you are considering. Second Corinthians 8-9 are the Apostle Paul's reflections on giving, possessions, and generosity. We would encourage you to read through this passage as a preparation for the spiritual act that you are about to participate in. Paul seems much less concerned in these chapters with how much is given and far more interested in the attitude in which the gift is given. Notice the words he uses to describe the giving: sacrificially, pleadingly, eagerly, with sincerity, willingly, generously, and cheerfully. Ultimately, our giving to God should be an expression of the gracious Gospel that we have experienced in Jesus. It is never our intention that anyone feel compelled or guilted into giving to the Chapel. Instead, our prayer is that it would be true of all those who contribute to the Chapel that "They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us" (2 Corinthians 8:5). To assist in contributing to the Chapel, an online giving internet portal has been set up. You may want to print this page so that you have the instructions in front of you.

To use this portal for the first time:

• Go to the Tom McClure Memorial Chapel sign in page.
• Click on Create an Account.
• Enter the requested information. This will send a password to the email you entered. Be sure to check your junk mail if you do not see it in a timely manner.
• Enter your email and the provided password into the sign in page. You will be asked to enter a new password. Keep track of this new password. 
• Before contributing for the first time, you will need to await a registration approval. The approval will come from the Tom McClure Memorial Chapel email ([email protected]). Be sure to check your junk mail in case the approval goes there. After you receive that email, you can go on to the next section.

After receiving registration approval and to make contributions:

• Go to the Tom McClure Memorial Chapel sign in page.
• Enter your email and password
• In the upper left of the site, click on the three lines. Select Online Giving.
• Enter the amount you want to contribute.
• By default, contributions go to General Offerings. If you would like your contribution to go towards another purpose, click on the + symbol next to the General Offerings menu. Type into the Memo box what purpose you would like the funds used for.  Click Close.
• Select Give Once for a one-time gift. If you would like to automatically repeat your gift, click on the Repeat menu and select how often you would like the gift to automatically be transferred.
• If you would like to cover the processing cost, click the button next to Help Cover the Card Processing Fee.
• If you have already set up a payment source, click that payment source and click the Charge $$$ button at the bottom of the window.
• If this is your first time using a payment source or you want to add a payment source, click on Enter A New Payment Source. Click the Enter Payment Details button that appears. Click on either Card, Google Pay, or Bank to indicate which type of account the payment will come from. Enter the requested details. When you submit after providing details the amount will be transferred.
